FEEL THE FLOW, OWN THE GOAL

ABOUT ME

"Feel the flow," is a saying that resonated with me since my freshman year of college. The ability to step into a zone of focus and be at the top of your game day in and day out is what the flow is. Practicing as a goal keeper comes with a lot of highs and lows, to be able to grind throughout the whole season is the act of feeling the flow.

Starting out at a junior college, helped me realize what I wanted to coach and at what level. I loved the hard work ethic my teammates had and what my coaches instilled in me while I was there. This opportunity soon led me back there for a year of assistant coaching while also gaining the opportunity to coach at the local club as the goal keeper director.

As a coach, I try to take that same recognition of seeing how I can be there for my goal keepers throughout a long season. This includes bringing positivity to each session, making sure the athlete is mentally and physically able and instilling confidence in each player that comes to practice.

My philosophy centers on fostering positivity, growth, and self-belief in every goalkeeper I work with. Here's how: Confidence First: Goalkeepers are the backbone of the team, and confidence is their strongest asset. I focus on building self-assurance through consistent encouragement, achievable challenges, and celebrating progress. Resilience is Key: Mistakes happen, even to the best. I teach keepers how to embrace setbacks, learn from them, and come back stronger—both on and off the field. Joy in the Journey: Training should be as enjoyable as it is challenging. I bring energy and enthusiasm to every session, creating an environment where keepers can thrive while having fun. Positive Communication: A calm, constructive approach helps keepers build trust in their abilities.
